Boat Shrink Wrap Recycling
In partnership with Queen Anne’s County, the Marine Trades Association of Maryland (MTAM) and local businesses, PFQAC will distribute free bags for boat shrink wrap recycling in 2026.

The 2025 campaign diverted more than five tons of shrink wrap from landfill, and we look forward to another successful year.

Skip the Stuff
The Kent Island High School Honor Society and PFQAC have joined together to encourage local restaurants to "Skip the Stuff" and provide disposable utensils, straws, napkins and condiments only on request.

"Skip the Stuff" honors customer preference and can reduce restaurant costs significantly. If your restaurant would like to be part of this effort, please contact us!

Maryland Bottle Bill
The Beverage Container Recycling Refund and Litter Reduction Program would create a beverage container deposit program in Maryland with a refundable deposit on metal, glass and plastic beverage containers, depending on container size. The deposit is refunded when the container is recycled.
