Skip the Stuff
Introducing a Voluntary Campaign for Restaurants to Make Condiments Available on Request
Most restaurants automatically provide plastic utensils, straws, napkins and condiments for takeout meals, even if the customer doesn’t need or want them.
The Solution: Give out single-use plastic accessories upon request, saving dollars for restaurants and the environment.

We are experiencing a human health emergency: Microplastics have been found in the air, drinking water, soil and the human body. Most "Skip the Stuff" plastics are not recyclable, and are currently sent to landfills, burned in incinerators, or contributing to litter.

A study in Red Bank, NJ, looked at 20 restaurants who adopted Skip the Stuff policies. Those restaurants saw an average 94% reduction in “stuff” given out.

Skip the Stuff honors customer choice. Nearly all, 98%, of online restaurant orders are eaten at home or in an office, where reusable utensils are available and preferred.

Join us in asking your favorite restaurant to "Skip the Stuff" and provide napkins, utensils, condiment packets, etc. only to customers who request them.
